Regarding the Full-Scale Start of the Energy Storage Business
TOUCHI INTERNATIONAL CORP. has officially launched its energy storage business, leveraging the expertise gained from solar and wind power generation projects, to contribute to the further development of renewable energy.

Background of Entry into the Energy Storage Business
Our company entered the solar power generation business in 2014 and has been operating multiple power plants nationwide. With the spread of renewable energy, the stabilization of output fluctuations has become a social issue, and energy storage facilities are gaining attention as essential infrastructure for stabilizing the power grid. Leveraging our track record in power generation and the comprehensive capabilities developed across various business areas such as non-ferrous metals and construction machinery, we have decided to fully enter the energy storage business.
Direction of Business Expansion
Specifically, starting with the construction of a grid-connected energy storage facility in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, we will undertake the planning, development, and operation of energy storage facilities at renewable energy hubs nationwide. Through a business model utilizing the Feed-in Premium (FIP) system, we aim for stable business operations that secure both revenue from electricity transactions linked to market prices and from renewable energy surcharges. President Kokushi Ryu stated, "The energy storage business will become the second growth engine for our renewable energy business. We will contribute to Japan's decarbonization while achieving sustainable enhancement of corporate value."
